It’s such a super cute atmosphere in here! The overall vibe is friendly and welcoming. The employees are so kind and helpful. Claire helped me set up my package and gave me a nice deal on my first lotion. The spray tans here don’t turn you orange because they use a violet base instead! I was nervous for no reason. They’re always running deals for lotions, often for tanning packages. Upon initial sign up, they first give you a skin evaluation to help ensure you’re not using the wrong bed at the wrong time and won’t harm your skin. The owner is heavily involved in the community, they’re in every parade, every holiday event downtown. Kist by the Sun is the *ONLY* tanning choice for me in Ashtabula!

Definitely recommend!!! The outside of the building is so bright, it invites you to come inside and check it out. You're greeted with a tropical feeling and and instant release of relaxation! I found a young, pretty platinum blonde lady behind the desk who by the way, had excellent customer service and went above and beyond to help me! Her name was claire! She set me up with a monthly package and a Lotion that would fit best with my skin tone and the tan I was trying to achieve. The tanning room, was spotless, so clean. I felt like I was getting in a brand new bed. As I exited the salon, Claire was very pleasant and made sure I enjoyed my time tanning and even offered me a chocolate! 10 out 10, highly recommend!!!!!
